Congressman Seth Magaziner, representing Rhode Island's 2nd district, has taken to social media to address several pressing issues. In a series of tweets, Magaziner discusses topics ranging from cybersecurity to local weather alerts and the impact of budget cuts on vital services.

On February 7, 2025, Congressman Magaziner expressed concerns regarding recent staff reductions at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). He stated, "In this week’s Homeland Security hearing, Republicans assured us that CISA - the lead agency protecting us from cyber attacks - was exempt from Elon’s staff cuts. Wouldn’t you know it, they were wrong, again, and now our country is more vulnerable."

The following day, February 8, 2025, he issued a warning to residents of Rhode Island about an impending snowstorm. He tweeted "Rhode Islanders, brace for 5-8 inches of snow this weekend, along with high winds. Stay safe, plan ahead, and check @RhodeIslandEMA for updates!" emphasizing the importance of preparation and safety during severe weather conditions.

Later on February 8th, Congressman Magaziner highlighted the contributions of Maternova—a company dedicated to saving lives worldwide by supporting mothers and newborns while creating jobs in Rhode Island. He raised concerns about the potential risks posed by budget cuts initiated by Trump and Musk: ".@Maternova saves lives worldwide, serving moms and newborns while creating jobs in Rhode Island. Trump and Musk’s illegal cuts are putting Maternova at risk, and are hurting people both at home and abroad."
