U.S. Congressman Seth Magaziner, representing Rhode Island's 2nd District since 2023, recently expressed his views across various vital issues via social media. Magaziner, who succeeded James Langevin, discussed his stance on healthcare, TSA screenings for children, and support for the transgender community through a series of tweets.
On March 30, 2025, Magaziner tweeted about his appearance on a major news network. "Went on Fox News this morning to discuss why the Republican budget that cuts healthcare in order to pay for tax cuts for the rich should be DOA." This tweet conveys his opposition to budget cuts impacting healthcare funding.
Further, on the same date, Magaziner addressed the concerns of traveling mothers, highlighting child safety during airport screenings. He expressed support for specific legislation aimed at TSA practices. "Moms traveling w/ kids have enough to worry about. They shouldn’t worry about their babies’ food being contaminated during a TSA screening. I support the Bottles & Breastfeeding Equipment Screening Act to ensure TSA follows good practices when handling breast milk or formula."
On March 31, Magaziner recognized the transgender and non-binary community. He shared his supportive message during a national observance day. "On Transgender Day of Visibility, we lift up our transgender and non-binary neighbors here in Rhode Island and across the country. Everyone should be able to live as their true selves."
