On April 19, 2025, Magaziner expressed deep concern over the impact of Trump's foreign policies and tariffs on Rhode Island's tourism and hospitality industry, especially during the crucial summer months. He described the situation as "Absolutely infuriating and unnecessary".

Later on the same day, Magaziner reported positively on a local event, sharing that he "Had a wonderful time at the Community Angels Easter Basket Extravaganza on Broad Street in Providence yesterday." Highlighting the community spirit, he expressed gratitude for the event that brought families together.

Continuing the festive theme, on April 20, 2025, Magaziner extended warm wishes to his audience in a separate tweet, stating, "Happy Easter to all! May you enjoy a joyful and celebratory day with loved ones."

Seth Magaziner, 39, was born in Bristol, Rhode Island and studied at both Brown University and Yale University. Since 2023, he has represented Rhode Island’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, succeeding James Langevin. Magaziner now resides in Cranston.
