Congressman Seth Magaziner, representing Rhode Island’s 2nd district, shared updates on various issues through a series of tweets on April 15, 2025. From concerns about international food aid to domestic policies affecting economic stability, Magaziner's tweets reflect his commitment to addressing significant matters.

In his first tweet of the day, Magaziner highlighted the current state of the Edesia Nutrition factory in North Kingstown. On April 15, 2025, he tweeted, "Last time I visited @EdesiaNutrition in NK, the factory was booming, turning out peanut paste to save the lives of malnourished children around the world. Now the floor is nearly empty. Kids are starving—we need the administration to restore funding for emergency food aid now."

Later that day, he expressed criticism of certain actions taken by his Republican colleagues amid broader economic concerns. In a tweet posted on April 15, 2025, he said, "Trump’s tariffs are raising prices and tanking the stock market, and what are my Republican colleagues on the Natural Resources Committee doing? Passing a bill to rename the Gulf of Mexico. Seriously. Here’s what I had to say to them."

Concluding his day on social media, Magaziner detailed his team’s efforts at the West Warwick Public Library to assist constituents. On April 15, 2025, he tweeted, "Our team was at West Warwick Public Library today helping Rhode Islanders navigate tough issues with federal agencies. If you need help, we’re here for you! Give us a call at (401) 244-1201."

Seth Magaziner, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Rhode Island’s 2nd district, has been in office since 2023 after succeeding James Langevin. Born in Bristol, Rhode Island in 1983, he resides in Cranston and holds degrees from Brown University and Yale University.
