Seth Magaziner discusses local economy growth and community initiatives

Seth Magaziner, a Congressman representing Rhode Island’s 2nd district since 2023, recently shared insights on his activities through social media. Born in Bristol, Rhode Island, and residing in Cranston, Magaziner is an alumnus of Brown University and Yale University. His recent engagements reflect his focus on economic development, historical commemoration, and youth empowerment.

On March 7, 2025, Magaziner met with the Manufacturing Extension Partnership to discuss ways to enhance Rhode Island's manufacturing sector. He emphasized the importance of innovation and support for small manufacturers as key drivers for economic growth. "Met with the Manufacturing Extension Partnership to talk about strengthening RI’s manufacturing sector and creating good-paying jobs."

Later that day, he participated in an event commemorating the 60th anniversary of Bloody Sunday in Selma. Magaziner joined others in walking across the Edmund Pettus Bridge to honor those who fought for justice and equality. "Today, on the 60th anniversary of Bloody Sunday, I joined friends and colleagues in Selma to honor the heroes who marched for justice."

On March 8, 2025, Magaziner highlighted his meeting with the YMCA and @CTYAlliance. The discussion focused on expanding opportunities for children in Rhode Island through life-changing programs aimed at setting up future generations for success.
