Congressman Seth Magaziner, representing Rhode Island’s 2nd district, has taken to social media to express his views on various issues. On February 19, 2025, he addressed topics ranging from international relations to local constituent services and scientific research funding.

In a post dated February 19, 2025, Congressman Magaziner criticized former President Donald Trump for allegedly supporting Russian President Vladimir Putin over Ukraine. He stated: "Shameful that an American President is siding with bloodthirsty dictator Putin over democratic ally Ukraine. Trump siding with Putin makes the whole world, including America, less safe."

Later that day, Magaziner highlighted his office's efforts in assisting constituents with federal agencies. He shared an example of helping a resident from Warwick secure a delayed tax refund from the IRS. He encouraged others needing assistance to reach out: "Need help with a federal agency? We’ve got your back... From tax issues to veterans’ benefits, we’re here to help."

In another post on the same day, Magaziner visited researchers at Rhode Island Hospital who are working on cures for cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. He voiced concern over proposed cuts to NIH funding by figures like Trump and Elon Musk: "Today I visited the talented researchers at @RIHospital... But Trump & Musk want to slash NIH funding, putting their work at risk."
