Congressman Seth Magaziner, representing Rhode Island's 2nd district since 2023, has been actively addressing issues pertinent to his constituents and state. His recent social media posts highlight his engagement in resolving individual concerns, supporting local industries, and proposing legislative measures.

On November 25, 2024, Congressman Magaziner shared a constituent service success story on social media. He stated that "Nat from North Kingstown contacted our office after she was having issues getting her tax refund." The congressman's team intervened by contacting the IRS to resolve the issue and ensure the constituent received the owed funds. Magaziner encouraged others facing similar problems to reach out to his office for assistance.

The following day, November 26, 2024, he emphasized the importance of Rhode Island's fishing industry. In a post, he expressed pride in securing federal funding for research into lobster distribution and shell disease. He announced that "RI’s lobstermen are a vital part of our state’s fishing industry & local economy." The $157,710 grant awarded to @RhodeIslandDEM aims to support healthy wildlife stock for thriving lobstermen.

Later on November 26, Congressman Magaziner highlighted a legislative initiative aimed at benefiting National Guard Members and Reservists. He mentioned introducing a bipartisan bill with Representative Trent Kelly to expand student loan forgiveness for these service members. In his words: "Their service deserves to be rewarded."
