Seth Magaziner, a U.S. Congressman serving Rhode Island's 2nd district since 2023, shared his recent engagements and legislative priorities via a series of tweets on April 9, 2025.

In a tweet, "Thank you to the RI Developmental Disabilities Council for a thoughtful conversation about how we can build a more inclusive society. I am committed to supporting policies that empower all Rhode Islanders to live with dignity and independence." dated April 9, 2025, Magaziner expressed his commitment to supporting policies that foster inclusivity and empower Rhode Islanders to live with dignity and independence following his dialogue with the RI Developmental Disabilities Council.

On the same day, Magaziner announced legislative progress in his efforts to protect dissidents in the United States through a new bill. Via a tweet, "NEW: My bill to stop foreign governments from threatening dissidents in the U.S. cleared the Homeland Security Committee. No one should flee oppression only to be harassed on U.S. soil.
