Since replacing James Langevin in 2023, Magaziner has been active in various initiatives focused on labor, education, and healthcare.
On March 10, 2025, Congressman Magaziner expressed enthusiasm for his role as Vice-Chair of the Labor Caucus and co-leader of the new Building Trades Task Force. He stated that his primary goal is to support the middle class and those striving to join it. In his words: "Excited to hit the ground running this year on @Labor_Caucus as Vice-Chair, co-leading the new Building Trades Task Force...My top priority in Congress is to fight for the middle class & those working hard to join it."
The following day, March 11, 2025, Magaziner congratulated Finán Gammel from East Greenwich High School for being a finalist in the Society for Science's talent search. This recognition places Gammel among distinguished company, as past winners have achieved notable accomplishments such as winning Nobel Prizes. Magaziner remarked: "Big congrats to senior Finán Gammel from East Greenwich High for being a finalist in @Society4Science’s talent search—where past winners have gone on to win Nobel Prizes!"
Later that day, he highlighted the critical role of community health workers in Rhode Island. He met with representatives from CHW National to discuss ways to support their efforts in providing equitable healthcare access. Magaziner commented: "Community health workers make sure RIers get the care they need...Met with @CHWNational to talk about how we can support their work."
