On February 16, 2025, Congressman Magaziner emphasized the importance of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs as viable alternatives to four-year degrees. He stated, "Good jobs don’t have to require a four-year degree. CTE programs provide cost-effective pathways to high-paying careers for Rhode Islanders." Magaziner announced his support for a bipartisan resolution backing #CTEMonth and efforts to enhance workforce training across the nation.

The following day, on February 17, 2025, he expressed strong opposition to members of Congress engaging in stock trading. In his tweet, he declared, "Louder for the people in the back: Members of Congress shouldn’t be trading stocks—period." He urged for the passage of his Trust in Congress Act aimed at banning such practices.

Later that day, Congressman Magaziner addressed concerns over plans involving former President Trump and Elon Musk regarding potential changes to the Department of Education. He tweeted after an urgent press conference stating that their plan could lead to reduced teachers and increased class sizes. He remarked, "Fewer teachers. Bigger classes. Less funding for RI schools. Unacceptable." Magaziner argued against cutting education funding in favor of tax cuts for wealthy individuals.
