Congressman Seth Magaziner, representing Rhode Island’s 2nd district since 2023, has been vocal on social media about various issues. His recent tweets address concerns over the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), his engagement with constituents, and recognition of Dominican Heritage Month.

On February 10, 2025, Congressman Magaziner expressed concern regarding actions by former President Donald Trump and Elon Musk towards the CFPB. He stated, "Trump & Musk are gutting the CFPB—the agency that protects people from financial scams. We’re showing up in numbers to say we’re ready to fight back."

The following day, February 11, 2025, he shared his experience from a telephone town hall meeting. Magaziner tweeted, "Just wrapped up my first telephone town hall of 2025! These are chaotic and challenging times but I am committed to fighting for every Rhode Islander. Thank you to the more than 11,000 constituents who tuned in to help me take YOUR voices to Washington."

Later on February 11, Congressman Magaziner celebrated Dominican Heritage Month by welcoming Dominican leaders from Rhode Island to his office. He acknowledged their contributions through a tweet: "Honored to welcome RI Dominican leaders to my office during Dominican Heritage Month! Rhode Island is stronger because of the rich contributions of the Dominican community. Proud to celebrate this heritage and history!"
