Seth Magaziner, a U.S. Congressman representing Rhode Island's 2nd district since 2023, has been vocal on various issues through his social media presence. His recent posts highlight concerns about federal funding, honor local achievements, and advocate for economic policies.

On January 30, 2025, Congressman Magaziner expressed concern over the Trump Administration's withholding of funds from essential organizations. He emphasized the impact on the Ocean State Center for Independent Living by stating, "The Trump Administration is still illegally withholding funding from many vital orgs doing important work. The @oscil_in_ri serves thousands of disabled RIers and needs their funding resumed NOW."

In a subsequent post on January 31, 2025, Magaziner attended an event in Providence to honor individuals dedicated to justice in Rhode Island. He congratulated new inductees into the Rhode Island Criminal Justice Hall of Fame by saying, "In Providence this evening honoring outstanding Rhode Islanders who’ve dedicated their lives to justice. Congratulations to the 2025 inductees of the Rhode Island Criminal Justice Hall of Fame – Your commitment to fairness, safety, and community service strengthens our state."

Later that day, he highlighted the importance of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) in alleviating poverty and strengthening the economy over its fifty-year history. He urged for its expansion in future tax legislation with the statement: "For 50 years, the Earned Income Tax Credit has lifted millions of people out of poverty and strengthened our economy. As we celebrate this milestone, let’s commit expanding the EITC as part of the next tax bill."
