Seth Magaziner, serving as a U.S. Congressman representing Rhode Island’s 2nd district since 2023, recently shared his perspectives on several issues through social media posts. Magaziner, who replaced James Langevin in Congress, has focused on ethics reform, reproductive rights, and environmental policy.

On January 22, 2025, Congressman Seth Magaziner expressed his commitment to enhancing ethical standards in Congress. He emphasized the importance of bipartisan support for such initiatives and acknowledged the endorsement of the Rhode Island Center for Freedom's endorsement of his TRUST in Congress Act aimed at banning stock trading by members of Congress. "Bringing ethics back to Congress should be a bipartisan issue."

Later that day, he marked the anniversary of Roe v. Wade by reiterating his commitment to reproductive rights. As part of the Reproductive Freedom Caucus, he vowed to work towards re-establishing nationwide abortion rights and protecting reproductive freedoms. "Today is the 52nd #RoevWade anniversary – and the third without Roe."

In another update on January 22, 2025, Congressman Magaziner highlighted his participation in the Natural Resources Committee meeting for the new Congress session. He expressed enthusiasm about continuing his role on subcommittees related to energy and mineral resources as well as water, wildlife & fisheries. He emphasized bringing attention to environmental and energy policy concerns from Rhode Island's perspective. "Today is our first Natural Resources Committee meeting in the new Congress."
