His recent tweets address concerns over congressional stock trading, corporate mergers affecting consumer prices, and proposed changes to Medicare and Social Security.

On December 11, 2024, Congressman Magaziner expressed his disapproval of Members of Congress engaging in stock trading based on insider information. He stated: "It is outrageous that Members of Congress, who have access to all kinds of insider information, can call their stockbroker and trade off of that information." To address this issue, he announced plans to introduce a bill with Representative Chip Roy to ban such practices.

Later the same day, Magaziner shared an update regarding his efforts with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) concerning grocery chains. He noted: "Last month, I urged the @FTC to investigate big grocery chains for unfair practices, and thanks to their work the Kroger-Albertsons merger — which would have decreased competition and increased food prices for consumers — is no longer." He described this development as a significant victory for working people.

In another tweet on December 11th, Congressman Magaziner criticized Congressional Republicans' plans related to Medicare and Social Security. He remarked: "Congressional Republicans are already plotting to put Medicare and Social Security on the chopping block in order to pay for tax cuts for billionaires." He suggested an alternative approach by asking billionaires to contribute more fairly.
