Washington, D.C. – On April 19, Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02) spoke on the House Floor to honor and remember Rhode Island State Senator Maryellen Goodwin, who passed away this week following a long battle with colorectal cancer. 

“Senator Goodwin made a difference, and her efforts made life better for countless Rhode Islanders,” said Rep Magaziner. “She was a model public servant who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. I join Maryellen’s friends, family, and the entire state of Rhode Island in mourning her loss.”
