A pair of Little East Conference (LEC) men’s basketball programs continue to be among those featured in the D3hoops.com Poll. Both are among the 10 remaining undefeated teams in NCAA Division III this season.

Keene State College (10-0), which was idle last week, held onto its No. 6 ranking and was just 10 points back of No. 5 University of Rochester. The Owls are off to their best start in program history, opening with a program-record 10 consecutive victories. They will look to extend that streak when they return to action December 30 when they host Emerson College in a 6 p.m. non-conference contest.

Western Connecticut State University remains among the teams receiving votes in the national poll. The Wolves crushed St. Joseph’s (Brooklyn) University in their lone game of the week last week, rolling to an 87-41 non-conference win that improved their record to 8-0 on the season. WestConn will return to action December 29 when it opens its home holiday tournament against The City College of New York at 3 p.m.; the tournament also features the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and SUNY Maritime.
