Highlighted by 10 home games, the Bryant University field hockey team announced it's 2022 schedule on Wednesday.
Under the direction of second-year head coach Jillian Coppola the Bulldogs will play 19 games, including eight in their inaugural season as a member of the America East.
The Black and Gold open the 2022 season on August 26 when they host La Salle at the Bryant Track and Turf Complex. Bryant closes the weekend at Lafayette before traveling to upstate New York the following Friday to face Colgate (Sept. 2).
September will keep Bryant in New England as the Bulldogs host Merrimack (Sept. 6) before visiting Brown (Sept. 9) and Holy Cross (Sept. 11). The Bulldogs will host Stonehill (Sept. 16) and St. Louis (Sept. 18) the following weekend before opening America East play at Vermont on Sept. 23. Bryant's first home conference game will be on Sept. 25 when it hosts Cal at Providence College. The Bulldogs close the month at New Hampshire (Sept. 30).
Following a trip to Hofstra, Bryant will welcome UC Davis (Oct. 7) and Stanford (Oct. 9) to New England. The site of Bryant's game with UC Davis is still TBD, while the Bulldogs and Cardinal will meet at Providence College. Bryant's four-game homestand continues the following weekend with matchups against Maine (Oct. 14) and Rider (Oct. 16).
The Bulldogs wrap up conference play on the road with trips to UMass Lowell (Oct. 21) and Albany (Oct. 28). Bryant will celebrate Senior Day on Oct. 29 when it welcomes Queens (N.C.) to Smithfield.
