Little East Conference recently issued the following announcement.

The Little East Conference (LEC) announced a total of 301 student-athletes competing in the LEC's six winter championship sports – men's and women's basketball, men's and women's indoor track & field, men's and women's swimming & diving - have been named to the 2021-22 LEC Winter All-Academic Team.

To be named the LEC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be at least in sophomore standing in the classroom, have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the previous semester, and have been at their current institution for at least one full academic year.

The LEC's announces its All-Academic Teams following the conclusion of their respective championship seasons.

By the Numbers

17 student-athletes maintain a 4.00 cumulative GPA

50 student-athletes have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.90

116 student-athletes have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.75

229 student-athletes have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50
