This ranks Community College of Rhode Island as one of the three cheapest schools in Rhode Island in 2023.

The amount paid per in-state students in tuition and fees was $236 more than the previous year.

Out-of-state students attending Community College of Rhode Island in 2023 were expected to pay $14,210, which is $658 more than the previous year.

The average cost of college has more than doubled in the 21st century, growing by more than 7% every year. In-state students can expect to spend nearly $10,000 on tuition alone per year at a public, 4-year post-secondary school.Meanwhile, out-of-state tuitions averages $27,457.
