Bryant completes weekend sweep with DH sweep on Saturday

The Bryant University baseball team completed a series sweep of Davidson with 15-5 and 11-1 victories in Saturday's doubleheader at Wilson Field.

With the wins, the Bulldogs improve to 5-7 on the year. The sweep also marks Bryant's first-ever series sweep of an Atlantic-10 member. Bryant posted 26 runs and 25 hits in Saturday's twinbill.

John Hosmer, Caden Dulin, Lewis Barnum and Gavin Noriega highlighted the offensive outburst for the Black and Gold, combining for 17 hits, 17 RBI and 15 runs in the two games.

On the mound, Coleman Picard and Ken Turner both turned in solid outings to pick up victories. Picard struck out 10 over 6.0 innings, while Turner tossed 5.0 innings of one-run ball.
