Warwick ranked 12th among cities in Rhode Island by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Warwick residents was $36,814 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 34,744 households with a population of 81,079.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Charlestown with $45,189 per year after adjusting for inflation – $8,375 more than Warwick. It had 666 households with a population of 1,241.

The city with the lowest median resident income in the state was Kingston with $4,422 per year after adjusting for inflation – $32,392 less than Warwick. It had 665 households with a population of 6,789.
