Warwick ranked ninth in Rhode Island for resident earnings in 2019

Warwick ranked ninth among cities in Rhode Island by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Warwick residents was $38,886 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 35,011 households with a population of 80,993.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Misquamicut with $47,292 per year after adjusting for inflation – $8,406 more than Warwick. It had 233 households with a population of 398.

The city with the lowest median resident income in the state was Kingston with $4,650 per year after adjusting for inflation – $34,236 less than Warwick. It had 605 households with a population of 6,513.
