The New England Institute of Technology enrolls 2,596 undergrads

At the New England Institute of Technology, 62 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 67 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in East Greenwich enrolled 2,763 students in fall 2018, including 2,596 in undergraduate and 167 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

41 percent of undergraduates are residents of Rhode Island, and 58 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (22 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (11 percent).
