Warwick ranked 10th among cities in Rhode Island by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau in August.

The median income of Warwick residents was an inflation-adjusted $36,146 per year. Warwick had 34,904 households in 2017, with a population of 81,218.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Carolina. Carolina's median income was $45,114 per year after adjusting for inflation – $8,968 more than Warwick. It had 268 households in 2017 and a population of 680.
