Seth Magaziner, a U.S. Congressman representing Rhode Island’s 2nd district since 2023, recently shared updates on social media regarding local activities, legislative efforts, and community achievements. Born in Bristol, Rhode Island in 1983 and currently residing in Cranston, Magaziner holds degrees from Brown University and Yale University.

On June 20, 2025, Magaziner marked the start of summer by engaging with his constituents about seasonal activities in Rhode Island. He tweeted, “It’s June 20, the OFFICIAL first day of Summer! What RI summer activities do you have teed up for the season? Finally, recognizing culinary talent within his district, Magaziner congratulated a local chef via Twitter. At 20:34 UTC on June 20th, he tweeted: “Huge congratulations to Sky Haneul Kim of Gift Horse in Providence on winning Best Chef in the Northeast at this year’s James Beard Awards! A well deserved honor that puts a spotlight on the incredible talent we have right here in Rhode Island.”
