Congressman Seth Magaziner, who represents Rhode Island’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates and greetings with his constituents through a series of social media posts this week.
On September 22, 2025, Magaziner commented on corporate responses to political pressure, stating, “With so many companies bending the knee to Trump’s bullying, it’s good to see ABC doing the right thing. I’ll be watching tomorrow night…mostly for Guillermo.”
Later that evening, he extended holiday wishes to those observing the Jewish New Year in his district: “Wishing all those celebrating in #RI02 a happy, healthy and sweet new year. Shanah Tovah U’metukah!”
The following day, Magaziner attended a labor event in Cranston and wrote about his support for organized labor: “Great to join @99_ibew in Cranston to welcome @IBEW President Kenneth Cooper. Rhode Island is a state that values hard working and supports organized labor. I am proud to stand with those in the labor movement working to build our state and strengthen the American middle class.”
Magaziner has represented Rhode Island’s 2nd District since 2023 after succeeding James Langevin. Born in Bristol in 1983 and now residing in Cranston, he is known for supporting organized labor and community events. He holds degrees from Brown University (2006) and Yale University (2010).
