Congressman Seth Magaziner, who represents Rhode Island’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on April 1, 2026, addressing national achievements and local initiatives.
In his first post of the evening, Magaziner extended support to NASA’s lunar mission team: “Best wishes to the Artemis II team as they launch tonight on the first crewed lunar fly-around mission in 53 years! We are rooting for you.” (April 1, 2026).
Later that day, he highlighted a statewide fundraising effort: “United Way is close to reaching its $5 million goal to support nonprofits across Rhode Island as part of 401Gives. Incredible to see what we have already achieved together. Let’s finish strong! Participate here: https://t.co/0v12sjgUFx” (April 1, 2026).
Magaziner also acknowledged a religious observance with a message stating: “Wishing a happy Passover to everyone celebrating in Rhode Island and across the country.” (April 1, 2026).
Seth Magaziner has served in Congress since replacing James Langevin in 2023 and currently resides in Cranston. Born in Bristol in 1983, he is an alumnus of Brown University and Yale University.
