Addressing concerns about government operations amid uncertainty, on October 5, 2025, Magaziner assured residents that his offices remain available for assistance. He stated: “I know the government shutdown creates uncertainty. My offices remain open to answer your questions about access to federal benefits and assistance for impacted employees. Later that same day, Magaziner announced an event dedicated to veterans and their families. In his post he said: ” Veterans and family members: Save the date! On Monday, Nov. 10, our office will be hosting our Veterans Breakfast from 8:30–11:00 AM. Join us to honor those who served, connect with fellow veterans, learn about resources for vets and their families.”
