Congressman Seth Magaziner, who has represented Rhode Island’s 2nd District in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently shared several updates on social media regarding his legislative priorities and advocacy efforts.
On July 13, 2025, Magaziner highlighted the importance of public spaces during National Park and Recreation Month, stating: “This National Park and Recreation Month, we’ll keep working so parks are accessible and enjoyable for all.”
The following day, July 14, 2025, he addressed economic concerns related to wages and corporate profits. He posted: “Big corporations take home huge profits while wages fail to keep up with the cost of living. I am proud to again support the Raise the Wage Act to raise the federal minimum wage to $17 for 22 million Americans. This is long overdue.”
Later that same day, Magaziner commented succinctly on an unspecified topic with: “How about Zero days?!”
Seth Magaziner was born in Bristol, Rhode Island in 1983 and currently resides in Cranston. He is a graduate of Brown University (BA, 2006) and Yale University (2010). He succeeded James Langevin as representative of Rhode Island’s 2nd district.
