Congressman Seth Magaziner, who represents Rhode Island’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media platform to update constituents on local and national matters.

On February 2, 2026, Magaziner encouraged residents to stay informed about current issues by subscribing to his newsletter: “If you missed my most recent telephone town hall, sign up for my weekly newsletter for updates on the issues facing our state and country. A day later, on February 3, he announced federal funding for several new projects in his district: “Huge news: I just secured funding for 9 new projects, making #RI02 more resilient, affordable, and safe. Later that evening, Magaziner highlighted a meeting with labor leaders representing airline workers: “The working men and women of the Association of Flight Attendants are there no matter the destination. Magaziner has served as the representative for Rhode Island’s 2nd District since 2023 after succeeding James Langevin. Born in Bristol in 1983 and currently residing in Cranston, Magaziner holds degrees from Brown University (2006) and Yale University (2010).
