Congressman Seth Magaziner, who represents Rhode Island’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on April 13, 2026, highlighting local community engagement, legislative efforts for workers’ rights, and federal funding for infrastructure.
In one post from April 13, Magaziner shared his visit to a local business: “Michael co-founded Red, White & Brew in Warwick in part to create a welcoming space for people of all abilities. And he serves a great cup of coffee while he does it! It was great to stop by, meet him, and see the impact he’s making in the community.”
Later that day, Magaziner addressed labor policy with another update: “Americans work hard. Yet we are the only advanced economy without a law guaranteeing paid time off. My bill guarantees paid vacation for all workers. And we are gaining momentum.”
Magaziner also announced federal support for local infrastructure projects: “Proud to secure $2.25 million for Coventry to fund infrastructure projects that will reduce flooding and improve town services. This investment will lower costs for residents over time and make Coventry more livable for years to come.”
Seth Magaziner has served as the U.S. Representative for Rhode Island’s 2nd District since 2023 after succeeding James Langevin. Born in Bristol in 1983 and currently residing in Cranston, Magaziner is an alumnus of Brown University and Yale University.
