The following day, July 5, 2025, he criticized a proposal from the Trump administration regarding the Department of Education. He remarked that “The Trump admin’s plan to eliminate the Dept. of Education…is unconstitutional.” He also mentioned joining Senator Warren’s amicus brief in NAACP v.
