Congressman Seth Magaziner, who represents Rhode Island’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on September 22, 2025, addressing energy policy, government transparency, and youth engagement in technology.
In a post at 17:46 UTC, Magaziner commented on the progress of an offshore wind project: “This is the right outcome. Revolution Wind is 80% complete and will deliver much needed low cost energy to the grid. And, as was apparent when I asked an administration official about the stoppage in the Nat Resources Cmte – they had no clear argument for stopping the project.”
Later that day at 18:32 UTC, he called for increased transparency by stating simply: “Release the tape!”
Magaziner also promoted youth participation in technology with a message at 19:43 UTC: ” Calling all young coders in #RI02! The Congressional App Challenge is your chance to showcase your skills & creativity. It also provides a chance to travel to DC & connect with coders from across the country. Submit your app by 10/30.
