Congressman Seth Magaziner, representing Rhode Island’s 2nd district since 2023, has recently voiced his concerns on several key issues via social media. Born in Bristol, Rhode Island in 1983 and currently residing in Cranston, Magaziner holds degrees from Brown University and Yale University.
On June 11, 2025, Congressman Magaziner addressed Secretary Noem regarding deportation practices by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). He stated “I challenged Secretary Noem almost a month ago on DHS’s reckless deportation practices. Since then, the cruelty has only escalated. Enough is enough.”
Later that day, Magaziner emphasized the importance of the AUKUS alliance for U.S. security. He remarked “AUKUS is essential to deterring threats against the United States in an increasingly dangerous world. The administration must honor the AUKUS framework that guarantees American jobs and American security.”
On June 12, 2025, he highlighted a lighter aspect of congressional life with a nod to tradition. He tweeted about the Congressional Baseball Game: “The Congressional Baseball Game is a time-honored tradition where Democrats and Republican Members of Congress face off on the field. Our DC staff is at Nationals Park to cheer on the Blue team—and enjoy a few stadium hot dogs along the way.”
Seth Magaziner’s background includes graduating from Brown University in 2006 and later from Yale University in 2010.
